Fellow Permies - I have a headlamp I use around my homestead all the time - checking on chickens, putting thingS away after dark, etc.  I know you will like it too.  I currently sell the headlamp on Amazon and I would like to offer you all 50% off (only $7.79 to $8.24 depending on body color and free shipping if you have Amazon Prime).  I am hoping you will write me a quick review;  I am trying to get 100 reviews by Christmas rush and I would really appreciate your help.

Please email me at patrick@veriglow.com or purplemoosage me and I will get you a custom code for 50% off.

Regards,
Patrick

I give this headlamp 10 out of 10 acorns. I just have to say, I totally recommend this headlamp.  I won one here on permies seven months ago, and since then we have literally used it every day, for 10+ minutes/day. With that usage, we charge the head lamp maybe once a month. The thing is REALLY bright! We have multiple different headlamps in our house (a Coleman multi-colored one and two other non-brandname headlamps). None as as bright as Patrick's, and they all get noticeably dimmer after only an hour of use.

We use our headlamp for getting firewood and feeding our barn cats, and the very important task of charging my son's glow-in-the-dark toys before bed each night. None of our other headlamps make the toys nearly as bright as Patrick's. They might, maybe, charge them as brightly with fresh batteries, but after even 30 minutes of use, the headlamps are dimmer than Patrick's. We don't even charge the Veriglow that often, like I said. We only charge it when it gets as dim as the other headlamps. I think we've only charged it (plugged it into our computer's USB port) maybe 5 times over the past 7 months, and--like I said--we use it everyday! It holds a charge amazingly well, unlike many other rechargable devices we've owned over the years.

I love the wide beam of it, too. It seriously lights up our kid's room as well as his ceiling light, if not better. We haven't had a chance to use it during a power outage, but I know it will be amazing. So often headlamps have such a narrow spectrum of light that, even though it's bright, you still can't see too well. Not so with the Veriglow! It's very easy to see with this puppy!

So, anyway, I totally recommend a Veriglow. Perfect present for the person who has most every tool (ooooh, maybe I'll get one for my Dad for Christmas. The man has every tool he wants, so it's really hard to find presents for him), and the perfect tool for your homestead. If you need a headlamp, this is the one you want. If you already have a headlamp and use it frequently and are always getting new batteries for it, this headlamp would likely be a great investment. It really is that fantastic!

Edit: Just noticed Patrick didn't add a link, so I'll put one here:

Thanks, Nicole!  I hope you gave me a review on Amazon.  I was originally solving a problem for myself.  I'm glad it's helping other people too.
Regards,
Patrick

Hi, Patrick

Our hunters loved them!

I purchased two of these to give as gifts as these will be very handy for our deer hunters.  The reviews were very helpful in my decision to purchase the Veriglow and I liked the price.  I also liked that it is rechargeable and does not need batteries.

I giving the red safety lamps to the granddogs to wear on their collars.  These are really neat!
