The Permaculture Technology Jamboree 2023 was a resounding success! The Wheaton Labs community, in collaboration with expert instructors and enthusiastic attendees, created innovative artifacts that are redefining the potential of what a permaculture perspective can offer humanity—surpassing the expectations set by past events.

The team present at the event captured an extensive amount of footage, far exceeding our initial estimates. This comprehensive collection provides a detailed look at all the processes, from design to implementation, of these sustainable solutions. After reviewing the raw material, I am confident that we can craft an exceptional movie, sharing with the world the groundbreaking experiments conducted at Wheaton Labs.

and much more!

What do you say—Will you help us create a film?

Please follow these steps:

So you want to change your backer level. . .

To change your backer level, simply log into kickstarter, go to the Low Tech Laboratory page and click, "Manage My Pledge"

There should be a box with the backer level you chose.  Here you will click on the button that says "Change Your Pledge"

The backer level you are currently at will be noted.

To change the backer level, scroll to the level you wish to change to.  Click on it.

Be sure to click on "Change Pledge"

A confirmation screen will pop up.  Now click on "Confirm Changes"

Click here to find more about how to adjust your pledge

A couple of questions about this - is the video suitable for children to watch? And for the "full event" is that in download or streaming?

Yes all the footage is PG! It might get a little technical at some points but exposing these solutions to children is a great idea imo, theyll see that anything is possible, for reals! I think the full event will be hd streaming, 20 hours of video weighs a lot!!

Yes at least! The community at Wheaton Labs, instructors and attendees all pitched in this year and recorded a huge amount of footage for all of the builds, every minor detail is on video. So excited for people to experience the full event at the comfort of their homes!!

When I adjusted mine, I just added the amount I needed to get to the level I wanted. For you, add $40 to your pledge and you will be automatically in the $80 level.

A little bit about Robert Kourik, the author of this coming stretch goal, (from his website):

"Robert Kourik has written ten books on a variety of topics including drip irrigation, environmentally- sound homes, edible landscaping, and lavender. His articles have appeared in numerous national publications, including seven in The New York Times. He has received two national awards for the best article of the year from the Garden Writers Association. Kourik has authored or co-authored nine books pertaining to a sustainable home and garden."

Things we can learn from the book "Sustainable food gardens":

·  No-till techniques

·  deep mulching

·  Improved soil and soil fertility

·  Ornamental edible landscapes

·  Efficient mulching

·  Companion planting made the right way

·  Green manures

·  Drip irrigation in an elegant way

·  Non-chemical control of invasive and non-native plants

"In Sustainable Food Gardens you’ll learn how to find the Holy Grail of gardening—productivity, tasty food, and a beautiful, sustainable garden or yard."

i received this question

If I change my pledge level will I still get all the early bird stuff or will I lose it?

Excellent question!  We should put this in an update!

If you change your pledge, you keep all the earlybird stuff.

Last year, somebody canceled their pledge and then made a new pledge for the bigger stuff.  They lost the earlybird stuff.

Figured it out, you have to click on the new pledge level to see the button to select a new level.

I really hate web developers that put "secret" buttons/ links/etc on pages that you can't see until you do some other action or get the mouse focus just right. I always wonder if they hate their users, and are laughing as they imagine people madly moving their mouse around the page until they happen to get the focus on the correct pixel.
Anyway successfully upped my pledge to a higher level!

Changing your pledge *amount* does not change your pledge *level* - Kickstarter records that as bonus support - for example current level Glory (100)  - change the amount to add 300, when you look it is still at the "Glory level + 300" and not the Goofball level (400):

You are right! I just checked my backer level and it was still at 'Thanks', even though I pledge $100. Please don't be a silly like me. Change your backing level using the instructions S Smithsson left above.
