When my brother found out I'd lost her, he put me in touch with a friend of his who desperately needed to rehome her rescue and so this is what I brought home. I love her, even if she's a total dingbat!
What beautiful dogs we all have! They enrich our lives so. This is my heartbeat Boomer, who helps me at everything he can and always has a smile! Understanding every word I say. He is definitely smarter than me!
We live in SW Va and have 3 dogs including my all time favorite a 6 year old Plott. We got her as a hunting/livestock protection dog but in her quieter moments she thinks she is an 80 lb lapdog.
We rescued Ziggy, she goes everywhere with us.
She is very adaptable and lets me do anything, don’t worry that eyeshadow is organic- a one time occurrence!
As small as she is, she’s a great watch dog.
Ziggy just turned 14, and is still frisky:)
When I was a teen, the family had a large Basset Hound. To bad there wasn't a conversion kit for the upgrade shown below. The image is a digital artist's rendition of a panel from a Bloom County cartoon.

Devoured by giant spiders without benefit of legal counsel isn't called "justice" where I come from!

Valkyrie, a Caucasian Shepherd. Six years old and needed a new home. So we are relatively new to one another. I was grieving the loss of a dog I had fostered for several months before she finally found the right permanent home. I missed having a big dog around and here she is, it’s a good thing that she’s sweet tempered because she almost outweighs me. Her housemate and walking companion is Gizmo, a now one eyed nine pound rescue. Together they are alarm and protection.

Each generation has its own rendezvous with the land... by choice or by default we will carve out a land legacy for our heirs. (Stewart Udall)
