Strange people who do their dates wrong.

22/10/2022 is obviously the correct way.

My computer says it's "20221222"  - humans simply can't agree on anything??? No it's not that, it's "the wonderful thing about "standards" is that there are so many to choose from."

I enter dates in code-comments and noticed this morning that it's 20230223 (the way we do it).

Too bad you didn't post it at 0223.  That would have been awesome.

Today is February 12, 2024
In American notation, that's 2-12-24
I was writing it and my head said "yup, two times twelve equals twenty-four!"

My computer reads it, "2024-04-24" - still a nice enough combo!

Hot off the press from Ms Pearl:

A fun date today... I just wrote 02-24-26 on something and 2 + 24 = 26  :D

Of course, written in Canadian it becomes 26 - 02 = 24  I just had to put a double dash instead of the single!

As a programmer, the dates I work with the most are in yyyymmdd format and I wish we'd all just get used to that. In two days it'll be 20260226 which is fun.

I generally write dates in such a way that in two days it will be 02262026  also fun :D
