I have moved into Allerton Abbey, more or less, although the floors are still under construction, which presents some logistical challenges. We are hoping to finish the floors and begin the thermal inertia test soon, although it hasn’t been ideal floor-drying weather lately, even with the doors/windows open. I experienced my first snow at the Abbey last weekend—it was incredibly beautiful. I’ve only seen snow a handful of times in my life.
