After finishing my potholder, I needed a dish scrubber, so I decided to crochet one out of wool, which I’ve never used for a dishcloth before (usually I use cotton, but don’t have any here). It actually seems to work just fine, though.

Aww, Jen! Shucks, that's just a nice start on some elegant patina! <G> Or honorable dueling scars. <g> The walking dead, halt and lame we use around the kitchen here, well, your beautiful little crocheted lady wouldn't let'm into the kitchen! And we don't even have a rocket stove to make life interesting.
Thanks, Rufus! I was so surprised that the rocket stove door got hot enough to scorch wool instantly that I wasn’t even annoyed about my potholder, heh.
Another lovely morning! Ashley is here for the PEP event, and we are really enjoying having her here. She built a wonderful hugel at the Abbey yesterday (which everyone but me got pictures of—I was working on another project)!
