Reuse Water From a Shower - PEP BB greywillow.sand.showerwater

This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Greywater and Willow Feeders.

In this Badge Bit you will reuse water from a poo-less shower to flush a toilet or water something.

Here are a couple about being poo-less and showering in a way that water is saved in a bucket

Minimum requirements:
- Place a bucket in your shower to collect some of the water as you (and others) shower
- It might only collect 10% to 20% of the water, and that's okay for this BB
- It might take a few days to get enough water
- Use the bucket of water to flush a toilet, or to water something outside
- At least three gallons
- From pooless showers only!

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must show proof of the following (as pictures or a video < 2 mins):
- Three gallons of water from your shower that's obviously poo-less
- Giving the water to something outside or to flush a toilet

Full bucket after my cool shower today, someone had left it partly full. Been poo-less about a month now and feeling good! I watered the willows across the path from the willow bank and showers.

I don't use funny shower products just homemade soap bar and Liggets shampoo bar, which is also just soap on my hair once a week, so my showers are short and I have low flow shower heads

I was pleasantly surprised on how little water had to run before it ran hot, first 2
bucket picture. After capturing that water I put the bucket where I thought it would get the most splash off of me. I take short showers so you can see the amount collected.

I left it upstairs in the bathroom until this morning when I needed to flush, this was easier than carrying it all the way outside.

My guess is that what you are saying is:

A: that you ran the water directly into the bucket while waiting for the water to get warm.

B: And then you left the bucket in your shower while you showered

C: you used soap in the shower

A+B is good.

C is not allowed for this BB.

Further, the bucket looks like a five gallon bucket. So the amount of water in the bucket would need to be more than half full to meet the 3-gallon requirement.

Some bathwater. Shampoo? No. Ducks? Yes.

This siphon kinda...sucks.

Ikea says this plastic buddy is 41 oz. My measurements came to 6 cups, or 3 pints.

So this is a BB I can do too!
I am 'poo-less' for many years. Don't use any shampoo, soap, deo or whatsoever for my own hair and body. I have some soap in the house for guests who want to use it.

You see? No shampoo or soap here. There's toothpaste of Urtekram, peroxide and a stainless steel thing resembling a bar of soap.

Before the water is hot for the shower takes some time. That water goes in the bucket.

Then I had a shower and the bucket was totally full. This is a 20 liter bucket, so its over 3 gallons.

To take the water to the plants I use the watering can. I dip it in the bucket and the water flows into it.

And then there was more, but I didn't make a photo. All of the rest of the water in the bucket went into the micro-pond (frog pond)
