Thanks Dave for creating this page!

The main idea is that it was stupid the amount of stuff I was putting in my signature.  So rather than that, I thought it would be good to add a wiki page that was just all my stuff and link to that.

I cleaned up some stuff, and added a couple more things.

What am I leaving out?   What looks weird and should be changed?

First impression:
The graphic for "Purchase Advertising on Permies.com" looks a bit underwhelming
How about that button for donating money without wanting anything in return?

Hrmmmmm ....    suggestions?

How about that button for donating money without wanting anything in return?

I've been asked many times for that.  I think it would be better for me to create a thread about it and go from there.

Maybe a screen shot of other advertising?  Or maybe I'm misunderstanding the type of advertising that is talking about.

I'm not sure if you're looking for feedback on permies.com/stuff or this page or where.  If it's the permies.com/stuff page, please delete the apostrophe in the "Videos and DVD's" header!  Also, you've got a lot of stuff on that page.  It would be nice to have some internal navigation links so people don't have to scroll so much to find that stuff.

I'm not sure how nit-picky you want this to be, but in the areas where you list the name of something, it may read better if you put quotation marks around the titles.  Otherwise, at first glance it seems "and Buying It" is part of the title, especially because it is capitalized.  I understand this is a tiny detail, but things like that jump out at me, and once I see them, I can't un-see them :)  Clumsy example below.  I say it's a clumsy example because "Better World Book" isn't actually the title...  I should have picked another one, but the idea applies.

Here is my first pass.  So I guess I now also need advice on cleaning up that page.

Right now, all of our banner stuff goes strictly back to permies and the empire.

Click on the advertising button at the bottom of this page to get an idea of what we offer.

At the top of the post put links to the content below (see example in red font).  I don't know how the coding for the page works, whether you can do internal links (links to the content of that page only) but it would sure be nice.

Well, this is thread post.  We do have some wiki features in our software that we can use - but I don't know of anything that would help with that.   If nothing else I would need to use html id tagging - i'm not sure if the software supports that.  Anybody know?

I guess I thought that because you referred to it as a 'page' that it was a different thing from a 'thread post'.  I'm not familiar with forum coding and don't know how much freedom you've got, but if there was such a thing as a static page that gave you more coding options, then maybe that would be the better place to put the stuff that you're marketing.  After all, the easier you make it for people to find things, the more likely they'll want to buy those things.

I'm sure there are others here more knowledgeable than me who could help you better than I can.  Also, I see at the bottom of the screen that this is powered by JForum.  Can you get help from that source?

Could you make a page on RichSoil.com that's got buttons, and then just have the permies page take you over to richsoil.com?  (assuming the software for richsoil supports those html tags)

I can't remember what you're missing but maybe it'll come to mind.

Donations of smartphones (or "dumbphones" with a camera and wifi capabilities) to people who want to do a PEP program and don't have a cellphone or digital.  These don't need to have any sim card or service to help a person get a PEP badge and take a step toward inheriting land.

These should be donated directly to the person not through the labs, it doesn't need to be more work for Paul and company.

I think I just managed it. I'm not quite sure if I've got the code or the wording or the font size right, but at least the page isn't glitching. Annoyingly, the links open in a new tab, rather than just going down to that spot on the page. BUT, at least they work. Or at least the ones I've checked worked...

I'm wondering if the page would be easier to navigate if tge images weren't quite so tall. That'd way, someone could scroll down it faster. Maybe 300-400 pixels tall, rather than 700 or more?

Looks good on mobile view.

Maybe changing "and Buying It/Them" after each book/dvd to ",and how to buy it" might sound a bit better.

Typo - "vidoes"

There's still some apostrophes in "dvds" in a few places.

Maybe a screenshot picture of the banner ads under advertising, as well as the current tiny ad example.

It's a lot nicer to scroll through up at the top now. Much easier to read and easier to process the info, too.

Consulting added.   And I edited the stuff about the sepper program to make it clearer, and added a picture of the tipi.

the all left justified items makes it look amamateurish until you scroll down to
"Attend PDC's, Workshops, and Events at Wheaton Labs
Check Out the Wheaton Lab's Workshop and Events Calendar"

where your selection of pics and their arrangement show action and excitement.

Who ever did the selection and formatting that set of pics, ask them very nicely to do the visual arrangement for everything above it.

That or fill the right side of emptiness with other eye candy.

oh. the guy who told you to get rid of the  apostrophe in DVDs should've told you the same for PDCs.

This. Exactly this. This is what my therapist has been talking about. And now with a tiny ad:
Switching from electric heat to a rocket mass heater reduces your carbon footprint as much as parking 7 cars
