Since I am 'part vegan' I don't know why I think this is a good idea ------- but might it be fun to display some of this art in the vegan section of the grocery? Fun in a mean sort of way.

Whew, I retract my remark about putting a display in the vegan isle - I'm starting to get queasy.

Made a few days ago with beef & pork I raised myself:

This one was Paleo compliant. I used cooked quinoa instead of my normal matzoh meal (yes, it cracks me up everytime to combine it with ground pork)

So, I'm happy to post the recipe but I'm wavering on which is the lucky forum.

That is gorgeous art! Staff (myself included) could help copy the recipe to multiple forums if it fits.

One day, I think bacon roses would be fun. From http://www.instructables.com/id/Bacon-Roses/.

Mike Barkley: that would be REALLY easy to make. I'm vegetarian, but the area I'm in is very much meat eating. Wonder if we could do that for a fundraiser? I bet people would pay well for that.
Thanks for the idea!!

Sorry for being off topic.

Are there any posts that expand on the part that I quoted, CJ? That sounds truly remarkable.

In celebration of upcoming Pi Day and bacon, I found an awesome recipe for Jagermeister Bacon Pies (an English article).

I think these yummy looking pies qualify as works of art!

And there is also a wonderful apple pie with a bacon lattice, too!
