Hi Y'all!

 I've been looking up these badges, and it seems like an awful lot of fun. If I may ask, do I have to be in the US to participate? I'm not looking to inherit property or anything, but I would like to get in on the fun?

 Also, do I need to do a particular course or something to earn them? I'm based in South Africa.

Johanan, you do not have to be in the US to participate in doing PEP.  There are no courses required to do them

Simply find one you would like to do.  Follow the instructions then post your pictures.

No prerequisites!  No location requirements!
Some things are easier or harder depending on your location, land, tools, equipment.

Please pay close attention to minimum requirements and documentation listed.
Do the task, post the photos(etc), earn a BB, get a nifty badge for your signature line.

If PEP doesn’t work for someone, check out the PEA program.

Follow-up question: Can I complete badge bits for more advanced badges before completing all the badge bits from the previous category?

Or, do I have to complete say, the straw badge, before I can complete any badge bits for the wood badge?
