From an email I received:

On December 30th each year, bacon lovers celebrate one of nature’s favored gifts on Bacon Day! The day reminds us that bacon is not just for breakfast and encourages us to test out various ways

Mmmmm... One of our neighbors told John yesterday he'd sell him all the pork we want, at less than $3/lb. I told John, "empty the freezers, baby - and open up that wallet!!"

One of my favorite things that I've ever tasted was a maple bacon cinnamon bun at the Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver.

There will be no complete understanding of the world of bacon without Epic Meal Time.  A friend turned me on to the Epic boys a number of years ago.  If I really want to make a splash at a potluck, I sometimes go to these guys for a recipe.

I don't go there often, it's a little out there and super fatty and rich and not really healthy, but man... if you want a Wendy's baconator layered with bacon strips Lasagna, these dudes will show you the way.

Here's one I hadn't seen before.

Notice the shirt on the guy at :55 on to 1:20 or so.  And bacon strips and bacon strips and bacon strips.

These Canadian Lads are serious about the bacon.

I made strawberry stuffed, whipped cream & maple syrup-topped French toast with bacon roses for my daughter's 13th birthday sleepover party breakfast. All the girls decided they were moving in with us, lol. Bacon roses are a THING!!!
