BRK Post 130
Back to boot work today. I'm finally back in the garden and wow they have grown. Mostly grown grass, but everything else has changed too. Berries are ripe, greens are going to seed, and my kale plants have quadrupled.
I had to disrupt some more tent caterpillars today. A small patch on a yellow transparent
apple and a few leaves on the largest, strongest apple. It does seem they are affecting most the weakest
trees.
Good news though, the nectarine has no caterpillars and set a few fruits this year. Looking forward to those and the cherries ripening soon.
For our afternoon session, we went over all the work needing to get done. Of
course now there are only the three of us boots here to do it.
*Hint: I'd be really great for those waiting list peeps to come on out to Montana*
Anyway, I pulled out my raspberries I had drying in the dehydrator. If I'm being honest, I'm not thrilled with the results. they have a weird crunch but no sweetness. I'll use them in something I guess.
