Is it possible that you already clicked on it once?  Everybody gets one click.  ...  well, people with PIE get to give posts one or two thumbs up if they want.

When you count in my $60 for paying it forward to gift others, that makes 6 more than the count. i'm willing to pay it forward more than $60, too.

Are there other folks on the thread who are willing to pay it forward to gift  this movie to others with smaller budget, to up the count for Paul? and to bless others and spread the wisdom and fun.

Could be Paul-  perhaps I was expecting something!

Anyway, certainly put me down  for 10 dollars.

Great idea!

Now at 88 ...   NEAT!  I think this is probably gonna happen!

Okay, if it happens ...   i need to contact the Bernal brothers and lay this project at their feet.  Maybe they can get started on editing in a week or two.  ... ....  I think we will need a pre-order page - I would need to contact Liv and Nicole to see about that.  The Bernal brothers have already completed the first task for why I sent them the footage, and that (the 9 minute turbo tour) is now up for the patreon peeps at https://patreon.com/pwvids

What else am I not thinking of?

I hope I'm number 100 Paul, please do it. I think your climate is similar to ours in southern Alberta,   I would like to see our 10 acre farm yard copy a lot of what you are doing. I may never get there, covid, and this would a way to start.

We use a gift code system.   So if you buy it for yourself, you will then see that you can buy a gift for somebody else.  Then you will get a gift code that looks kinda like this  https://permies.com/g/tytyt8ty8 - and you can send that link to somebody.

When setting all this up, should we set something up so a person can buy a dozen gift codes?

Hey Gilly - the number to the left of the "thumbs up +1" icon should have gone up in count by one when you did it.  Has to be on Paul's original post at the top.

Great idea! 10 bucks is cheaper than a theater ticket... And way cheaper than driving to Ohio from California...

So, I will pay $10 to see this virtual Tour doc!

Brilliant!
Even though I just moved and am now only 7ish hours away from Wheaton Labs, the border situation is still a deal breaker for an in person visit.

Great, I'm looking forward to the video! I thumbed it up a while ago as I'm unlikely to be getting there in person from our little patch on Vancouver Island; what with C***D etc etc, I think I've already taken my last flight. Perhaps you could be thinking about regular updates for folks like me who want to keep in touch with developments? Cheers!

Is it possible to make it several short videos instead of 1 long one?
I do have the money to pay, only I don't know how to. I don't want to do pay-pal, I don't have a credit card, I only have a Dutch bank account and buying $10 in cash and then sending it to you costs too much ...

When the time comes that the movie exists, ask me then.

I love the idea of seeing all the amazing stuff you have going on!
I think the smaller, more digestible chunks idea is also excellent. I would recommend picking some high interest chunks of the movie to post on YouTube to interest people and have a link to the website/ full movie at the end.
You could also on the website split it entirely into shorter videos on each topic and charge a lower fee for each- like $2-$4, something super reasonable that most people would happily pay to see the info that interests them. Then you could have a subscription, like $10 per month that lets you see all the videos/access all the content.
Whatever you choose to do, I think posting some excellent content on YouTube to interest and draw people in is a great idea.
Best of luck!!

An absolutely wonderful idea. I didn't arrive early enough to the PTJ to get the tour and feel like I missed out on a lot, also din get around much on the lab because of the tracks I chose. This would be great for reference as well. For everyone that I tell about your place, I have a hard time describing what you're doing in a way people can visualize and understand, I make y'all sound crazy😅. I have a hard time capturing the magic of Wheaton labs in words and I feel this would help tremendously. I'm totally game to help this kick off, take my monies.

Thumbs up :-).

And quoted below are two important things, at least from my point of view.

Since I'm in Europe:

Nicole Alderman wrote: Since this video would be owned by Paul, we could get it set up at Gumroads like we did with a bunch of other of Paul's stuff, and that will allow people to buy it around the world. Gumroads handles the VAT stuff so we can sell digital stuff internationally.

And if it was up to me every video would have this:

Nicole Alderman wrote: What if the movie had time stamps and a list of what's happening at each time? That way, you could zip ahead to the part you want to see, rather than having to watch everything in order. And, if you want to re-watch a certain part, it'd be really easy to find.

Yes I agree smaller chunks would be better.  You could have a quick overview of the philosophy behind Wheaton labs for nubies and a quick tour then break off into more detail on related subjects and projects.  The more positive info for healing the planet and living entities the better.
Thank you for being part of the vision.  We need more off grid excrement!

For those looking for the thumbs-up button, I made some screenshots! It looks a little different if you're on a desktop computer, compared to a mobile devise.

Desktop View
Here's where the thumbs-up button is on Desktop View

Mobile View
And here's where the 'thumbs' button is on mobile view. It's just a +1!

I hope that helps!

Thanks Nicole.  I understand the confusion, if you are using your phone like I mostly do it doesn't show thumbs up, so it is easy to be confused.  Maybe in the future it would be easier to ask for a like? Or Thumbs up/like.  Just a thought. Thanks

I have listened to a lot of podcasts recently, and many of those don't just cover the topic they claim to be about in the name,
but also a lot of lab-internal stuff is being talked about.

It would be nice to have vizual counterpart to all those verbal descriptions and stories.

Edit: I bet some people would have also watched through the unedited raw video material,
so do not let editing costs stop you from releasing stuff!
