DAAAAMN Jennifer. You may be half blind but you sure aren't half def. I must have spun that tune 6 or 7 times since you posted it. Super killer - I'll have to keep my head up for more of his stuff.

Waynes' post on ethics and my response to it has triggered the classic Chumbawamba tune "more whitewashing" in my brainspace because of the line

"Rich people who claim to know whats wrong with the world can't know anything at all - they're to busy giving orders for us to build their second home"

Hosting shows is almost always a blast, but at least in my experience I don't know if I'd call it sustainable income so much as making 1.25 an hour to stay up too late and clean up spilled beer in the morning. But a living room full of musicians is always at least going to be a sustainable form of entertainment as long as you have friend that play music!

AH! Not more music!!! While hugeling today (laying shallow graves for my logs) the two songs that kept popping into my head have been

Grateful Dead - Jack Straw

This album (Europe '72) got way way way lots of play in my house growing up. I'm glad it still is

and The Pinkerton Thugs - Where the Money goes -

'Cause it might not get much more play here and I know why. I love being able to pop on music in the background while I read and write threads. Both killer songs to dig too. Even when they're just stuck in your head.

gotta have a little Chet Baker on Valentine's Day "My Funny Valentine" is the title of the record and one of the best songs on it. recorded 1954. Unfortunately our copy is on cassette...have to exercise the tape every so often..... 'Time After Time" cool voice...even knowing his altered state......

Beth Hart and Jeff Beck at the Kennedy Center gives me chills and tears at the same time.

I knew I would regret that burrito. But this tiny ad has never caused regrets:
