BTW, what was the concept being proven with the shelf, some joinery?

Day 55 [timing]
2023.07.29 Saturday, evening entry

Grateful for joy findings.. these days I’m fully embracing spending time and money on joy.. today I spent way too much time in goodwill just you know looking at the entire store.. such joy I don’t know why.. and quite meditative actually.. then came home and worked on Doug at a leisurely pace, allowing for distractions and understanding the vehicle and even wiping down parts of the engine bay to bring it 0.1% close to sparkling ;) again such joy.. (changed out the water pump, lower radiator hose, thermostat, and flushed the coolant.. I’ve always wanted to try being a slow mechanic—this weekend was it.. and very enjoyable..!)

Doug is now up and running.. still needs a few other things down the line to reduce the burning oil smell.. I think I’ve got just the thing..

I posted a similar image once, and learned a new word: ergot. (Ergotism) I'm not an expert, but please search that, or look in your books/ ask around before doing anything with that grain. I'd only eaten one seed before someone said that to me. It tasted bad, but I didn't experience any side effects. Looks as though the side effects are pretty serious though.
