I added my veggie scraps to a pre-mulched food forest and topped up the wood chip mulch. I used 2 x 20L buckets which is reasonably close to 10 gallons, the buckets were a little under full.
I started working on this BB when I when to visit Wheaton Labs. I was placing the compost in the garden area behind the "Fischer Price House' . The bucket from the kitchen was not a 5 Gallon bucket, it was more of a 3 Gallon Bucket. I filled this bucket twice as seen below:

So to participate in the '20 Day of PEP Challenge' I got my food scraps ready and.... it's puking snow! Hopefully the photos are good enough. This area I'm trying to prep to grow sunchokes this Summer.
Perry! The Purple PEP Platypus! The Green bin is a 12 Gallon Bin. It's just about half full (~ 5 Gallons). The wood shavings are used shavings from the chicken coop.
Luckily I've been putting the kitchen scraps in a compost tumbler all winter and they haven't done much, it's just getting around 50 during the day here. I don't have any heavily mulched garden beds right now, but I have been putting down cardboard and woodchips around some of my fruit trees I planted in the hay field. It's touch and go whether the hay or the tree wins, at least early on, so I tried to help out. This bed was mulched in the fall.

Hey Justyn, it's hard to tell from the pictures how many buckets there are, which is which size and how full they are. Could you please confirm the volume and approximate % full each is and what the total is? Needs to be 10 gallons in total. Thanks!
sorry about that. Those smaller ones are each 1gal, the larger yellow one is 5gal and it's about 90% full, but if you need more picture I can add more. In the picture is around 10gal. I added over the months ~20-30gal. With 5 adults here, (my parents are very wasteful eaters) that is about 2 days worth of composting. Normally it goes to the pig or chickens, but every 2 months or so I collect enough to go to my Vermicomposting toilet, and into my garden plots. Next, time I add some to the gardens I will update the pictures.
