I LOVE the lime wash in the entry room. It looks so medieval/Tudor and beautiful!!!

The boots discovered downside to the linseed oil on dirt floor—it had been eaten by rodents!
It's not the layer. Thing are all good!

We have several boots that are planning on staying through the winter.  

I think the thing that keeps people from staying the winter is ....   well ... the winter ...  and sometimes this turns out to not be a fit.    Know what you are getting into!  Have you listened to the podcasts?  You don't have to, but it helps paint a picture of the values here.
