Ai! Just live and let live! There's too much to be done and to be experienced to worry about every little thing!

Being with family, as fun as it is, can also take a lot of spoons, too! It's always interesting, haha!

I've been trying to be a little less serious and make my days more enjoyable. So, these are the webpages I set one of my web browsers to open to every time I open it. That way I can have a little nice and fun stuff before I get onto the more serious work on the computer.

The thing which keeps life romantic and full of fiery possibilities is the existence of these great plain limitations which force all of us to meet the things we do not like or do not expect.

What have you done lately

for the very first time ever?

Today I washed wool that was shorn earlier this week from my own sheep.

Feeling the wool in hot and then cooler water, agitating it ever so little and squeezing it gently, I felt like a child, playing, totally immersed in what I was doing.

Then hanging the wool up to dry over garden beds to drip-water plants like R.Ranson does in her excellent tutorial video!
More permies-solutions: I heated my washing water by placing large water bottles in the sun this morning. In the afternoon the water was hot hot hot!

Tomorrow some more

Thought of the day...

How are you doing today?

Allow yourself a moment of rest - a pause, a moment of conscious and deep, quiet breathing, a cup of tea or something else that keeps you still, long enough to take this moment of introspection.

How are you doing?

Is there anything you want to share? Or questions?

Write it out.

It helps to write, to get the busy-ness out of your system, catch the fleeting flock of thoughts into letters, words.

So ... make an appointment with your Self today and check in, “how am I doing, in the here and now?”

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it

At a crossroads, if you don’t know which way to go,

if there’s no clarity, stop for a little break.

Taking in the scenery, enjoying the elements.

Gratitude for your feet, for the strength of your body,

to have carried you this far.

Just be.

-

And something will stir…

Perhaps the wind will give you a push.

Or a bird, or a butterfly will catch your attention,

and lead the way.

Something will happen, there and then,

that shows you with miraculous clarity:

This is The Way Forward.

Empty yourself of darkness and you find that you are full of nothing.

Fill yourself with nothing and you find that you are full of light.
