The On-Line Digital Archive of Documents on Weaving and Related Topics is hosted by the University of Arizona. It's kind of tucked away there and not easy to find, so it's a good link to bookmark.

The resources are in PDF format and primarily public domain. That means they are older publications and documents, but they contain a wealth of information not only on weaving but also basketry, lace making, etc. It hasn't been updated in awhile, but happily it's still available to the permies.

I love the free resources! That's my next stop. The SKIP bb's taught me how to make the hand spinner, or drop spindle, Opalyn demonstrates in this trailer. However, I am just lazy enough to want the more automated one here. I'm going to figure out how to make that swinging carder, picker, too!

I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody. Instead, I'm a tiny ad.
