Create an infusion of horsetail - PEP BB medicine.sand.horsetailinfusion

The infusion steeped for probably around 30-45 minutes. Wasn't very aromatic, even when hot. I might have to try steeping for much longer to get a stronger medicinal infusion.

Made an infusion of horsetail in hot water for 30min. Smelled strongly of spinach.

I think I wil harvest bushy horsetail next time instead of the horsetail stalks

Horsetail grows near me in two varieties. Here is one, also called scourbrush.

I loved harvesting horsetail, the way it splits apart circumferentially is so fun.  I dried the horsetail over the summer, then crushed them just prior to making the infusion. I used boiling water and let it infuse until the water temp was cool enough to sip, about 10 mins.
