Is a few scythes on the 'presents needed' list? It would make cutting grass a whole lot quicker and easier on the back.

Lord knows what happened to them.  But I sent an electric hedge trimmer and wheel barrow to mount it to for the Ants a few years ago to build a semi manual sickle bar mower just for that task.  Maybe it’s still around there.

I seem to recall using one of those 'golf club' whackers, like bill murray used for the "cinderella story" in caddy shack, to chop grass mulch before the '23 ptj. If sharpened up well, that could be a quick and easy alternative to a scythe.

I bought one for myself, which replaced the one here whose stick and handle kept detaching from one another. I learned just today that it's called a "yo yo."

I think some additional yo yo tools would be a better choice for here, specifically from a safety and tool maintenance perspective. Personally I wouldn't want some extra scythes just laying around here. Those yo yos are much more manageable in several ways.

Here's the business end of mine:

I've been trying to figure a 'Catty Shack' pun to work in here, but my powers seem to be at a low ebb. Must be because that Craftsman lacks the golf club 'foot' shape.

I do think it would be handy to have at least one scythe around in case an expert came along to show it off. Would definitely look cool hanging up by Mike's old tool board in the loft...
