Y'ever start reading about one thing and then end up down a rabbit hole looking at sickles? Like this one
 - a thing of beauty. Think of all the chopping and dropping one could do with such a tool.

Ugh, I gotta get some sleep..

Worked on the Voltzwagen today. Got the hatch screwed together, handles created, latch attached. The batteries are now hooked up and charging, though the solar panel needs to be readjusted so it's actually looking up at the sun. I couldn't lift it by myself, so after everything was all cleaned up I called it a day on that project.

Brought one of the game cameras down with me since it hasn't seemed to work right. Took it apart and found the battery terminals pretty corroded. They're soaking now and will hopefully be rust-free in few morning. If not, it'll probably need to be replaced.

Helped Dez stoke the batch box to prepare it for Taco Tuesday in the auditorium. Then the septic guy showed up a day early, so I raced up the hill to help move stuff out of the way so the truck could get closer to the tank. Got that squared away, so Dez and I took a trip up the volcano to get some quality chit chat time. We had to come down when we got cold and our stomachs began trying to eat their way out of our bellies.

I cooked myself some simple fare up at the house to avoid the circus down the hill. Dez ended up joining me with a plate of tacos, so we got some more quality chatting in over a quiet dinner. Such a pleasant way to end the day. ☺️

Today felt like I couldn't do much right. Struggled with the Love Shack electrical system. Not sure if the PWM controller is fritzing or what. Got the new starter assembly attached to the propane generator on the Voltzwagen.

Getting ready to do more planting on the plot this weekend. Hopefully the weather will cooperate long enough for that. Gonna make some mini cloche greenhouses to start some transplants. Don't necessarily need good weather for that, but it would be nice. Still need to make more terrace bundles and dig a rut for them to sit in and get staked. Gotta water my elderberry babies too. Plenty to do.
