Now that you see how nice ship lap works think about why I advocate using the electric saw mill to make ship lap logs for making nice tight wofati walls and ceilings.

I know what shiplap log siding is, but what are shiplap logs?

Lit the cob cottage "stove" today. We decided to call it the Smoke Shack. Anyone have any meat that wanna send us? I kinda wanna try smoking some in there..

Cleaned up trash, consolidated stuff and things left behind, and generally enjoyed the quiet of being far away from most everyone else. Gonna do it again tomorrow.

Jen, have you thought about having the thermal mass extend under your bed, or too concerned about spontaneous mattress combustion?

We discussed it and decided in that small of space (~120sqft) we don't need it. Also, we could build storage cubbies under the bed if we raise it about 3-4ft off the ground. You can kinda see them in that picture, but I can post a different angle that shows them more clearly (albeit very rough sketch).
