My daughter usually won't eat my homemade broth, but we've found a decent brand of store-bought that she really likes. I decocted fresh garlic in the broth for some extra "oomph" since she says she feels like she's catching a cold.

This garlic was planted season before last, but it died back when small, so I didn't harvest it then.

I made a garlic decoction with garlic we grew. I followed the decoction instructions in my herbal book. I boiled the water, then simmered on low covered for 20 min. I used 1-2 tbsp of chopped garlic per 1 cup water. It is potent!
