Two fellas took a lot of video. Andres Bernal is looking over the raw video to see if we might be able to cobble together a movie.

Contents would include:

- a j-tube rocket cooktop with a lorena option
- a solar food dehydrator with rocket assist
- a rocket sauna
- a tiny j-tube cob rmh in a tiny structure
- commercial rocket mass heaters
    o the liberator
    o the gamera
- an 8 inch pebble style rmh
- designs and successful experiments with rocket kilns and forges
- an experimental stratification design that failed
- a few other bits and bobs

For the kickstarter, we are kinda exploring the idea that the rewards might be

$1 THANKS
        - includes a new eBook on RMH riser designs
$5 CANDY
$10 MOVIE streaming
$20 TINY-DOWNLOAD
$40 HD-DOWNLOAD
$65 PLANS
         - includes 3-d plans of several of the creations
$100 GLORY
           - name in the movie
+ 10 hours of video from the event
$400 PYRONAUT
$1000 ASSOCIATE PRODUCER
$2000 EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
$3000 SUPREME EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

What about pot skirts for the rocket cooktop? I have been looking for a good how to on pot skirts for a long time.

I really liked all the different "bird" levels of backing from the most recent kickstarter - back early and get more stuff!
Could video 2 of the world domination gardening be on the list?
Staff note (Paul Fookes) :

100% supported Opalyn - WOW how fabulous would that be

I think this time we will do just a plain and simple "early bird".   The whole thing of the many birds was an experiment in the last kickstarter that I think turned out to not be worth it.

Further, I think we sent out too many updates last time - so this time I hope to send out fewer updates.

I do think now is a really good time to start looking at possible earlybird stuff.

I would be "in love" with doing a narrated (or voice overtype) film as opposed to the often "hard to cobble" version with sound varying all over the place, sometimes clicky, windy, noisy, etc.  It gives you plenty of opportunity for getting your best thoughts, ideas, tibits shared with the video as the backdrop, and reeeealy steps up the quality of the movie.

We are currently in the "idea phase" - trying to figure out what we might make out of all this.

The bernal brothers are involved - so whenever we need to make a point, we have lotsa animation stuff standing by to add clarity.

With the earlier 8-movie set, I had ernie and erica go over every spec of footage with me and we had lots of points where we added voiceover, or "puppets".  We are thinking of doing that sort of thing again, only opening it up to commentary from a lot of other experts.

For higher total money quantities :

At one of the higher money thresholds,  I'd say a version for people who use metric measures.
Maybe a second level for plans adapted to a EU, or Chinese market.
Get wheaten labs one of them fancy combustion gas measuring thingies
Get wheaton labs one of them fancy thermal imaging cameras.

rewards :
Stickers / plaques / art for backers RMHs, or RMH dreams.
  "I ❤️ RMH"
  "Windfall for heating!"

RMH top safe mugs / tea / coffee sets or drinks.
Possibly a set of trivet that are RMH barrel top safe, and keep stuff on top at _less_ than a raging boil.

I'm enamored with the idea of a RMH samovar.

a 20 minute egg timer, so that I can figure out when to go check on the heater.

a 20 pack of 'just light this thing' eazy rocket mass heater starters like the compressed wood logs that go in some fireplaces ( something more non ick though ).

I'm very chuffed. Thank you.

On the most recent kickstarter I believe we had zero backers from mainland China.  I'd guesstimate 30-40 from the EU.  30-40 from the UK.

I kind of agree with the "cobbled" effect some of the past videos have demonstrated.  It's completely understandable given how the film is gathered but if it were possible to have it appear that it was planned and a director was organizing things as the film was collected, it might look really high class.

Oh, silly idea...  What if Polly Bernal was the narrator and voice over.  She/he could introduce the movie, interview participants and talk through out the movie.  As needed, she could become animated and enter the video to point at things or interview the workers.  As the event would be going, the videographer would visit a work site and ask questions.  Those questions would get voiced over by Polly (or the videographer could be the voice of Polly).  Voice over might address the things Dean mentioned about volume.  Then the folks answer as if they're talking to a hovering parrot.  When things need to be explained fully with animation, Polly can be showing the desired thing in full animation.
