Is there somewhere online for selling seeds? Like eBay for seeds? I'd like to start but trying to think outside the eBay/Amazon box.

Some permies members offer their seeds in the Fleamarket forum:

A lot of folks sell seeds on Etsy, from an email:

Our shopping lists look a little different these days. And we’re here to help you get the things you need. From cloth face masks and natural cleaning supplies to self-care go-to’s, take a look at these everyday supplies made by independent sellers

I would like to second the Etsy shop suggestion. I have purchased quite a bit of seed from a variety of sources with good success on the site.

A lot of people sell seeds on eBay and Etsy. There are also seed-specific platforms like Seedwise and Seedlinked (though I've never used those).

A few of our Permies got together and made permapeople.org a market place. I have yet to order from there.

Joylynn, Thank you! And I've purchased quite a few seeds, plants and bare-root stock, on etsy, with no problems.

Try this site:    https://www.marysheirloomseeds.com/

They not only sell seeds but also give freely a ton of information about all things gardening!

I've bought several seeds and cuttings from Etsy. So far I've had good luck. My latest purchase was elderberry seeds. The package clearly states that they still have to be soaked, warm stratified, cold stratified, scarified, and planted in the fall. But they guarantee 90 percent germination rate. That's an easy thing to say if your product costs around $3, but we shall see. They have great reviews.

I think I'm just going to direct-seed them and let MN do her thing.
