Thank you for measuring your head in centimeters. I have wool here from the 'Deventer Schaapskudde Wol Project', that's hand spun and from local sheep. And I have leftovers of wool. So I think it will be a combination of those (maybe with stripes, maybe with colourwork, like the one Dez got).

Sounds wonderful! I can hardly wait to see it! ☺️

Today was cleaning, watering the plants, getting drenched in the rain, celebrating Dez's transition to car-less life, touring a bit around the Lab with Erica, checking on my seedling babies, drinking lots of tea/cocoa, watching a bunch of permaculture-related videos, and scheduling the next two weeks of Boot work with Lulu Maguu.

Found a sprouting nasturtium growing near the front door at the cabin on my plot! So excited to be able to identify that. We've been getting so much rain the past day or so. I'm really thankful even if I'm not too into feeling like a cold, drowned rat. My seedlings in the mini-greenhouses are still all trucking along. The moschata I planted out last weekend.. sigh.. someone, I imagine a couple deer or squirrels, chomped them down to the soil. I think two of them survived. Weirdly enough, they didn't eat all the ones in the mini-greenhouses (please, Universe, keep them safe), nor have any of the bugs destroyed them. I'll take that slight win. A couple of my strawberries disappeared as well, which I thought was really odd. I'll just have to keep an eye on things and do what I can when I can. Gonna have some healthy wildlife, just sayin'. If they only knew they could wait a little longer for it to grow and be even More delicious..

I'm gonna go back to snuggling my kitten, sipping cocoa/tea, and watching these Edible Acres videos. I've been enjoying how much he explains what and why he's doing what he's doing. It's been kinda cool. Also, his videos about propagating currants and other hardwood guys (elderberries/saskatoons/etc.) makes me want to prop a bunch of the currants around here. While we were out on the Lab today I found quite a few, and I now have prop machinations forming.. That video also got me wondering about it a bit, and found this insanely detailed webpage about propagating currants. That was my rabbit hole last night. You're welcome.

Have a good evenin', y'all.

Got the toilet enclosure frame for Cooper Cabin started today. Erica started on the sink cabinet. Collaborating means I'm taking design considerations from someone else as well. So I changed the direction of the boards that cover the framework. That means I need to cut two more boards to support those paneling boards. What it also means is that I get to make fewer cuts and can use some less than pretty wood for the lower panels that will be hidden by the sink cabinet. Good use of wood that's just sitting around not useful for much else. 🤔
