Woke up this morning and decided to scrub off. Walked over to The Wheelhouse (cob cottage) and pulled some rain water out of the catchment. About 3/4 of the way through my bathing, a deer whistled at me. Not disconcerting at all... 😑 I finished up and went to go prep the fire for coffee.

Pierre woke up a while after and helped with the coffee and breakfast prep. Hashbrowns and eggies. Yummers!

We got a couple bits of hardware and he set off to go hang his shower contraption. I cut a couple lengths for the rails of the deck in gonna put together in the cabin entranceway. By the time I finished those cuts, Pierre was done with his shower and we were ready to go to town. Woohoo!

Got some tasty Greek food. Went to a nearby thrift store. Picked up a new toy. 😁 Went to the fabric store and found a piece of leather for some projects Pierre and I have in mind. Went to the hardware store, but couldn't find what was on his mind. Got some groceries. Stopped in at Home ReSource and holy moly, we had a hard time getting out of that place. Nearly had to drag him out. It's huge and amazing and I wanted to spend hours there, but they were closing. BUT I managed to get another new toy! 😁😎

Came home, had a delicious dinner prepared by our participants, and then a lesson from Alan on breathing, posture, and walking.

Time for bed!

Lyra is waging a personal war against the squirrels. This one looks super dramatic.

It's a beautiful morning here today!

I skipped the optional evening session in favor of getting some planting done on the plot. The new pile of dirt by the little greenhouse got a pile of grass mulch. The purple coneflower all got planted into that pile. Put the leftover moschata into the ground. 🌱

After that I decided to go test out Pierre's shower. There are some tweaks I'd need to make, but it was refreshing and got the job done. 😊
