We've been rewatching through Star Trek the Next Generation anyway and made sure to fire an episode up last night after dinner.

I don’t generally watch TV, but I would go back some time for TNG! It is so wholesome, patient and overall nice compared to almost anything else you could pick out, not to mention well done… and of course Sir Patrick Stewart had a great role in the whole endeavor. I do not know as much about him outside that, but will read through the wikipedia article.

Rest in peace, Mr. Stewart.

Our local library has everything on dvd....we've seen all at least once but might check something out in honor...
I'm remembering an episode where he was on stage for part of it with the crew in the audience...a dream sequence I guess...but he was really on trial on another planet...? Not sure what series that was?  I really don't remember plots well at all.

I liked hiw the philosophy and decision making was worked into the stories.
