This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Tool Care.

This BB will be to clean the shop
 - before and after pic
 - significant difference
 - at least an hour

Here's an example of someone who spent 2 hours cleaning their shop.

To get certified for this BB, post at least two pictures:
 - a before picture
 - an after picture that shows significant improvement and at least 1 hour hour of work

We just inherited a bunch of tools from my grandparents who down-sized to retirement apartment living. And, of course, we needed a place to put everything...and the garage was a mess (with two littles, the garage was our last priority for cleaning, and it sure shows!). And so we cleaned! We spent about 3 hours on it. Next up is attacking the gardening area and the dun-dun-dun fishkeeping stuff.

The after (Better, but still needs more work--we'll tackle it more on my husband's next days off)

Staff note (paul wheaton):

I certify that this BB is complete
