This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Rocket.

This BB requires you to start a rocket cooktop and cook something on it. You are not required to build your own rocket cooktop but you will need access to one.

Some threads on Rocket Cooktops:
  - Cooking at Wheaton Labs
  - Double Shoebox Rocket Cookstove
  - Indoor Rocket Cooking Oven

Example of a Rocket Cooktop

Walker Wood Fired Rocket Cooktop

Another Example of a Rocket Cooktop

To get certified for this Badge Bit you must provide:
  - 5 pictures
o pic of starting materials before fire
       o pic of fire started
o pic of additional wood added
o pic of uncooked food going in
o pic of cooked food coming out

More fun at Allerton Abby!

I was going to hard Boil eggs so we could eat them at lunch... then I thought it was pretty hard to prove the egg wasn't already cooked! So I also cooked some potatoes for good measure. Only after did I think that you could cheat in the same way. Really I was just thinking about lunch.

These are my starting materials before I started the fire!

These are my starting materials after I started the fire!

This is an additional load of logs I put into the fire!

This is uncooked spinach going on the rocket cooktop!

This me taking off the spinach I sauteed on the rocket cooktop! The rocket cooktop gets really hot really quick, so it barely took me any time to sautee the spinach!
