Dear Permies all,
i purchased Bill Mollison's Permaculture book in response to this ad, and was very appreciative of the giant discount!  This was many weeks ago, but not months.
My friend started having permaculture symptoms, so, i bought it for him, too.
However, it appears that it's a one-time deal, the coupon PERMIES2022, until July 31, 2022, because i couldn't use it today, July 17, 2022.  it said "coupon limit has been reached" no matter what i tried.
so, that's my $.02.
take care,
dave

To me that symbol represents permaculture.

A snake surrounding an apple tree with land (soil), sun, and water.

Plants need soil, sun, and water to survive.

The snake and the apple tree remind me of the Garden of Eden.

What does it look like to you?

Mollison explains the picture on the front of the book.  the snake imagery is an Aboriginal people's symbol, but i'm not near my book now to get more details.  it's in there...
happy gardening!

Thank you daliyish for the discount code at the publisher. I just ordered for $106.27 including shipping, which is a substantial discount from other available sources. USD to AUD conversion rate helped the transaction favorably.

I give this book 10 out of 10 acorns.

Very informative!  As stated, takes dedication to read in it's entirety but worth the work.  I agree, if you only read one Permaculture book make it this one.

The Big Black Book will not only introduce you to permaculture but cause your creative thoughts about it to multiply exponentially!  This book is like the bedrock of a foundation.  It gives us the information to build upon.  From here we can create healthy spaces for ourselves, family, friends, acquaintances and customers.  Other permaculture books are fantastic but, they build upon what we already learned in the Big Black Book.  This is also an immense addition to my permie library.

I give Permaculture: A Designer's Manual by Bill Mollison 10 out of 10 acorns.

It is a timeless classic and an essential resource for anyone serious about homestead living. It offers a deep dive into the principles and ethics of permaculture, alongside practical techniques for designing regenerative systems. Mollison's ability to combine big-picture ecological thinking with actionable steps makes this manual both inspiring and incredibly useful.

This book gave me the confidence to start my journey toward living on the land and taking responsibility for my own needs. Through its clear guidance and inspiring vision, it showed me that creating a life of abundance and harmony with nature is not only possible but deeply empowering. It’s the kind of resource that equips you with both the knowledge and the mindset to take that first step.

Does anyone know if there is a current/active Permies coupon code for "Permaculture: A Designer's Manual". Seems like the old ones I've tried (and I haven't used a code to purchase before, so it isn't a coupon usage limit issue) are no longer active.

Cody, we are in the process of finding out if we can still have a discount code. Stay tuned!
