I downloaded my Skip ebook onto Epub, but unfortunately it’s unreadable on my iPad  because the text is scrambled and I can’t keep reading it unless I have a paid subscription to EPub, which I don’t want to do. Please can I have a refund and I’ll save for the hardback version. Thank you. Gemma

Have you tried using the Apple Books app (its free)? This EPUB was done using Apple software and favors iOS devices.

Just tried and it won’t work. Please can I have my money back. Thanks.

Update: I think I’ve got it working on Apple Books. Can I get back to you if I continue to have problems, though? Thank you.

I purchased access to the SKIP ebook as park of the Permaculture Adventure Bundle -- I can't get the file to open in any format. I'm using a regular ol computer with Windows 10 (I think) and it won't open in pdf or notebook or Word even.  Please send me an updated link -- can't wait to read this!

Thanks,
Cathy

Ha! I found a description of myself on page 27..."25 years until you might own a homestead debt free but unable to retire yet" :) Thanks, Paul. I feel seen and I feel like my path is validated. Remember, I started on this about 25 years ago, so well before SKIP ;)

Hi Catherine!

The ebook is in .epub format. To read it you need an epub reader, theres lots of great free options for windows 10 available.

Adobe reads .pdf and kindle reads .mobi you need an .epub reader. Theres lots of free great options for all softwares and devices

Searching for .epub reader plus adding your operating system should do the trick.

The ebook is using the flowing epub format.  So I think the number of pages will change based on the settings in your epub reader.

Hmm, I'm not familiar with an ePub reader. I'm just interested in an ebook that I could print out so we don't have to keep looking at the PEP details on a screen. Most ebooks I've purchased come as PDFs. Is it available as a PDF Or just as an epub? Is an ePub something you can still print out?  Also please let me know if there's any restrictions to printing it out for just our home.

Epubs can not be printed as far as I know.

Maybe getting one physical copy is a better solution?

Can anyone with a physical copy of the book tell me how many pages it has? I'm just trying to get an idea how big this book is but there are no page numbers listed in the index for each chapter. It was maybe worth $10 for me to have a physical copy but not $25 for me.
