Wintergreen tea! It's a bit early for ripe berries, but leaves and green berries are super nice too.

Collected from a local public park, back in an unused wild area.

Steep with some dried stevia, cool, pour over ice and ENJOY!

Note: I'm sorry, the tea must be from one of the species listed in the first post. I don't see Wintergreen on there. Do any of the other plants grow near you that you could try and forage to make tea from? Nice work on the foraging though. It prompted me to learn about this plant.

I love teas, and I love making teas. But what makes it even greater is finding my teas growing wild in my little world. Wild raspberry loves a shady corner of our permaculture garden and wild peppermint thrives in the outskirts of our veggie beds. These, along with a pinch of my stevia to sweeten it all, makes me a wonderful cup of tea.

Wild rose hips collected from the back of a hiking trail at a local park. They were surprisingly sweet, not what I expected! I also read that rose hip tea is good for arthritis/ joint pain. I am going to dry some for future use!

Hurray, the nettles are up! Spring is almost here!

I love this nettle patch, so close to home. But also don't like it. Got a tick bite infested with Lyme last year in this same patch. Need to be more cautious, but won't stop coming back. Nettle tea in early spring is so invigorating.
