Thank you, Judith and Ashley! I am so excited about starting to make the Abbey into a home.

We received a truly lovely selection of books for the boots’ library from an anonymous sender—I can’t decide what to read first! I am leaning toward Botany in a Day.

Earth Sheltered Solar Greenhouse so you can spend the winter dreaming of how to grow food at Allerton?

Ha, I read 'the $50 and up underground house' 4 years ago, sitting by the lower door in the Abbey, hiding out from the heatwave and thick forest fire smoke!

The place is certainly transformed from when I saw it!

Looks like a great bit of reading to start off your time in the abbey.
