Thanks for lowering the door opening!!!  I felt that was a major possible design issue when I stayed in the cabin last year.  I didn't know enough about RMHs to be sure it was a design flaw but thanks for fixing it!!  

The backpack sprayer arrived on Friday and we put it together today to apply some tea to hugelkultur and a buckwheat, quinoa, sunflower and phacelia polyculture.

Corn, black beans, seed pumpkins, dandelions, storage onions, tomatoes, crimson clover, potatoes, hollyhock, cosmos, barlotti beans, and holy basil were seeded on these hugels. Time lapses are fun.

This video shows my 20 gallon batch of aerated tea made with homemade compost. It is very exciting to see three different “large” microbes in addition to numerous bacteria in a single drop of tea. We diluted the tea with half water and applied it to the new hugelkultur at Allerton abbey and also foliage fed the hugel berms at basecamp. I want to try and delve more into identifying the microbes with the next batch.

I recently purchased a used gopro with a head mount to expand my camera arsenal from just a lonely smartphone. I strapped the camera to Orin's willing head while we were seeding the hugelkultur at Allerton Abbey and now I know where he planted his handful of apple seeds! this video gives excellent perspective of how tall the new hugelkultur is and what it is like to walk around on them. Thanks Orin for all the work you do. And thanks to the folks who support Paul's videos on Patreon for this new camera.
