if you have a dozen SKIP books, who would you give them to?

Keep one for yourself and the rest can go to:

  - teens you like
  - teens you don’t like
  - pre-teens
  - post-teens
  - adults that are stuck in a rut they are sick of.  symptoms could include
           o self anesthesia (weed, hooch, etc.)
           o expressing frustration about their job
           o expressing frustration about how little their job pays
           o expressing frustration that they can’t get a job
           o expressing frustration about the world
           o stopped expressing frustration about the world
           o expressing frustration about how much property costs
           o more than 40 hours a week of video games
           o prison
  - folks dreaming of homesteading
  - mormons - I don’t know why, but mormons super love this stuff
  - catholics - I don’t know why, I just feel like I need to mention them because I mentioned the mormons
  - folks in need of more healthy hobbies
  - artists whose art really sucks
  - scouts, girl scouts, boy scouts, eagle scouts
           o SKIP is a lot like scout badges, but the rewards are far bigger
  - people who say “badges, we don’t need no stinking badges”
            (bundle this book with a book on grammar)
  - that guy that is still in your basement
            (he’ll lose the first copy you give him, so have more handy)

I suppose if you are an old geezer like me:

  - one for each child and grandchild that can read (maybe they will catch the hint)
  - one for each geezer buddy
  - one for each youngster that seems like they could turn out alright
  - one for each youngster that seems hell-bent on throwing their life away on stupid shit
