There are clothes-lines here since before I lived here, both indoors and outdoors. Of course I use them. There's no other way of drying here (it was for some time, when we got a second hand dryer, but that one's gone again).
I hope this counts for the BB. Photos of both lines.

Unfortunately Inge this BB is specific to setting up a drying line, not just using one. Luckily the Nesting aspect of PEP has lots of options for BBs so you do not have to set up another drying line to get the badge.

Yes, unfortunately ... I hope to be able to do 8 of those things from the Jeeves list. I did 5 now (or 6, but this one did not count)

The first clothesline fell down. Wet clothes are heavy! Who knew...

This second should be much better.

Mostly the same materials,
- metal-core clothesline
- hooks & pulleys
- turnbuckles

Hello, I have installed at least 30 feet of permanent clothes line.  In fact it is roughly 60 feet, unless you count the top line as feet, in which case it is roughly 118 feet. I used discarded things I found around, such as posts and mulch, but the rope I brought with me.  It's great rope.  I'm sad to lose 118 feet of it, but not *that* sad.

Here are some of the materials that went into it:

Here are progress pics of the posts set up to receive the laundry lines:

Stringing the line taut, which I did an ok but not stellar job of:

Here is the finished 118 feet of clothesline:

And here it is with clothes on it, only they're not clothes.  Unless I'm playing Superman.

I now feel better prepared to accomplish the "do laundry by hand" BB.

Staff note :

Certified.  Don't like the dyed mulch but that's a side note

We're all out of roofs. But we still have tiny ads:
