Hoo boy don't get me started. I also do not like the dyed mulch.  It was dumped onto the field next to my yard by people who treat that as a dumping ground.  (As you'll see soon in my "cleaning up after tresspassers" BB.)  So with great trepidation and irritation I looked it up and the dye is rust.  Also, if it is MSC Certified (which this is) it has not been sourced from toxic waste materials from construction.  I've had this mulch many moons and really don't want to use it, so this was the first application I felt ok with.

Here is my submission for the Nest - Sand - Jeeves List - Install 30 Feet of Permanent Clothes Line BB.

To document the completion of the BB, I have provided:
   - a picture of the materials for installing the clothesline
   - an in-progress picture halfway through the installation
   - an action shot of clothes hanging on the clothesline that is obviously more than 30 feet long

I used four trees as anchor points and installed four eyebolts.  The finished clothesline length is almost 90-ft long.  The line sections are (approximately) 15' to the left, 22' to the right and the two on the far sides of the 'square' are over 25' long each.  There is a small (4 person) picnic table to help with scale near the towel in the last picture.  Note: I used/installed one piece of 100-ft clothesline - not two 50-footers.

It looks like some one had the same idea as us in the past and so all I'm really doing is putting it back where it was!

And the final product. If I had to guess there is at least 10ft between each tree and about 10-12 spans so quite a long line if I do say so myself

Submission flagged incomplete
In typical fashion I was doing a project on my to do list without checking before hand if it was a BB... here's the final result of some cloth lines I setup in the laundry/storage room.  We already have a dehumidifier going here so it just works out pretty well

Note: Is that really 30' long?  Do you have the "in progress" pic?  Also the pic needs clothes hanging on it.  Sorry

Do you want me to take it back apart just for the pictures?

It's not hard to drill pilot holes and then put the hardware in...
