Does the mother have to hatch out all 6 eggs in one attempt, or can I show multiple Mama's hatching out eggs to equal 6 or more?

Also, do the eggs all have to be hers? Sometimes it's important to bring in other eggs to add genetic diversity to the flock, or have the mother raise eggs from more desirable ducks.

In 2015, our duck, Flutter Mama, raised 5 ducklings. She sat on them in the bushes, so I don't have any pictures of her sitting on the eggs. So, I included a picture of one of her ducklings--Twilight--who grew up to hatch out a few batches of eggs.

Here's all six: Rarity & Maud (the two black ones), Trixie (the solid grey one), and Apple Jack and Big Mac (the lighter grey ones)

More documentation:

Here's where I posted about Flutter Mama and her first flock: https://permies.com/t/20373/duckling-pictures#390964

And here's where I posted about Twilight and her babies: https://permies.com/t/20373/duckling-pictures#719076 (note: all but one of these she hatched out were not her own. I wanted more blue-egg layers, so I put another duck's blue eggs under her, and let her keep one of her own)

Here's pictures of Twilight's babies, 7 months after they hatched out. I can put arrows on the ones that are hers, if you want: https://permies.com/t/98677/nice-photo-garden-chickens-ducks#819927

grey duck with white ring on her neck is Trixie, the two largely black ducks are Maud and Rarity. The dark grey magpie-looking (grey with white bib) drake is Big Mac. The other two grey magpie-looking ducks are Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash

And now for the other pictures leading up to the above picture:

I believe the intent of all of these "breeding" BBs is to show that the critter is healthy and happy enough to raise, in this case, 6 offspring in one shot. For birds, we deliberately left out wording that required the eggs to be hers since they often share nest boxes. It looks like just the pictures of Twilight would satisfy the BB if you had a pic when they were at least a week old...

Yay!

The wording says "at least 1 week old." Here they all are at 7 months old:

grey duck with white ring on her neck is Trixie, the two largely black ducks are Maud and Rarity. The dark grey magpie-looking (grey with white bib) drake is Big Mac. The other two grey magpie-looking ducks are Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash

Though, of course, at that age, they aren't ducklings really. But, I did find a picture of them at a week and one day. They hatched out on June 10th, 2018, and here's one from June 18th,2018.

Hmm, not a lot of other submissions to compare.. let's see what I've got for photos that meet the requirements. And maybe figure out how to do that video thing.

Do FB video links work? Ok, I think this link works. Video of just barely week old out and about ducklings myfarm FB page

I have some pictures of 3 weeks old too, but not all 6 in the same picture?

Here's a video of pictures and videos showing my broody mama duck. She is a khaki campbell. Two batches to make 6 of her own ducklings. The second hatched while I was at Wheaton Labs, SKIPping!
