I've been using stinging nettle in a powdered form to treat different issues. Well, it's going out of season now, so I grabbed some more and made a tincture out of it. Maybe it will be as soothing/medicinal? Experimentation! Here you can see the plant I harvested, chopped it, bottled it with alcohol, strained it, then labeled it and stored it in cute little bottles. Can't wait to compare it to the other ways I've been using it!

I made this tincture from parts ofthe massive batch of nettles I dried and got a BB for.

I let the leaf soak in spirits for 2-3 weeks and drained them over night, bottling only the liquid, leaving leftover leaf material to the bokashi bucket for later sacrifice to the gods of the land.

Ingredients and mixing jar. Bottle says Madeira, means moonshine. It`s basically airplane fuel.

I harvested and dried the stinging nettle from the wild over the summer. I then filled 80 proof organic vodka to cover the herbs. I shook the jar and stored it in a dark cabinet. Then strained it.
