Hey Shawn.
My pledge was weird. System show up $15 but I choose $100 and pay on the end $126. ($101+$25 for shipping)
Guys please fix this  on $100 because I don't know why this gone in wrong way. Here is my backer number 492.

Hi Dariusz,

International shipping for the $100 level is $75, so we'll need you to pay for the difference in shipping in order to give you the stuff at the $100 level.

This link will allow you to do so:

https://permies.com/pp/49/dariusz-piotrowski-kickstarter-fix

Funds received.  Note updated.

Hi Art, thanks for posting here!

The $15 level gives you 1 physical copy.

The $25 level gives you one of:
- 2 physical copies
- 1 physical copy and 3 ebook gift codes
- 6 ebook gift codes

Which would you prefer? Once you let me know I'll let you know how much extra we need to cover shipping.

Thanks for your reply:
What does the shipping cost on one physical copy ($15) vs two physical copies ($25)?

Art, old friend, you could come out here and pick them up yourself.  It would be good to see you.  Or, maybe we could meet in town at a restaurant and catch up a bit.

nancy sutton wrote:I got a 'weird' email, too.  I guess I upped my original $10 pledge to $15, which added the physical book.  But the $15 doesn't cover shipping?  Or.... ??? I'm confused... just throw in another e-treat for the extra $5... we'll call it even :)   (Don't think there's any shipping involved.. ?)   Or... keep the $15, and provide the $10 stuff... I'll consider it a donation to my favorite 'charity' : )

$15 doesn't involve shipping. So if you want a physical copy, we'll need another $5 for US shipping. Which do you prefer?

That's correct.  We have two pledgers under our roof but don't need two sets of rewards.

Thanks!

Then you'll be all set at the $60 reward level.

Hi Shawn,
I guess it's too late now and not fair to those folks who already paid the $15 USD$ for shipping books to Canada, but I wonder, because you live in Canada, could you get a large number of the books and then ship them out to Canadians?  Shipping something of that size within Canada in CAD$ might make it a lot more appealing for folks in Canada.
Anyway, a thought for another time maybe.
I look forward to the ebook in the mean time.  It sure looks like a good book for those mostly not super familiar with Paul's work.  Really brings it all into one place and into actionable "things".  Happy I could support and get the good word out there to the millions

Thanks for your support Simon. I think that if we were to do everything again, there are probably a lot of things we would try differently. But since this was our first book, and the #1 source of post-kickstarter collapse is a failure to estimate shipping costs, we had to play things really safe. And there are probably 3 or 4 things that are all a part of shipping kickstarter rewards that may not be immediately apparent.

You're welcome Shawn!

No doubt there are tons of things going on I have no idea about  Shipping is such a sun of gun thing these days when trying to do it on a "regular guy" level and keep it affordable.  Especially going cross border.

Shipping one book at the $15 level was $15 USD. But shipping at the $100 level was $25 USD, whether for 1 book or 12. Yes it's not ideal. But it's the best we could do within the kickstarter system.

Hey there! I'm slightly worried that I will somehow miss the call to submit my words for my "most creative name" in the book! I get swamped in trying to keep track of the info. Can you specifically send out an email calling for that submission when you need it? (with a REALLY obvious title so I will notice?!)

Glad all is going so well with the Kickstarter!
Cheers to you piling through the chaos!!!

I got an email saying that I gave you a weird amount of $55, when actually you guys charge me $60 on my credit card. Your message said that I was only going to get email copies and I want to give you more money so I can get six published copies to give to my grandchildren. Please advise!
PS it was hard to find a place to contact you to have this resolved. I believe in what you’re doing and I just want to give you more money so I can get hardcopies! Sincerely, Rainy Sunshine

The call to submit your words for your "most creative name" in the book will come as a part of your kickstarter backer survey which we will send out in a few weeks. It will "come from" Kickstarter, not Shawn or Paul.

I just checked my spreadsheet and it says that you have been charged $60 for the $60 level, which is great... except kickstarter failed to properly ask you for the shipping money. So we'll need you to send over another $10 to cover the shipping. You can do so here:

Hello!

Here is what I was hoping to get:
Pledge $25 or more

more books

Includes:
• 2 Physical Books, or 6 eBook Gift Codes, or a mix of each!
• + Everything in CANDY

So just let me know how to square up on shipping!  I would prefer the 2 physical books.
