Hello,

I can't access the '104th Issue of Permaculture Magazine (cBook'.  It says

" Oooops. You don't have sufficient privileges to access this message".

I am logged in and have been able to access all the other lovely candy from Kickstarter sent this morning- UK time. (And other times for this Kickstarter)

best

Gilly

Staff note (Nicole Alderman) :

I'm so sorry for the confusion! There was a glitch in the link, and new working links have been sent via email. Click this link to go to the correct:

When clicking on the email link, I was told by Gir that I did not have access. It is listed in My Stuff (in my profile drop-down menu), But I am also unable to access it through this path.

Thank you all so much! There was a mix-up in the link, and so I'm currently granting you all permissions to the thread. Keep an eye out from Gir Bot for access to this thread: https://permies.com/wiki/159989/Permaculture-Magazine-cBook

It usually takes about 15 minutes for all the Gir Bot links to go out, so this should hopefully be fixed within 15 minutes.

Thank you, Nicole! I'm now reading the magazine!

People, the magazine file is large, so it does take some time to load.

Gilly, could you tell us a bit about what type of devise/computer operating system you're using, and you're browser? Our cBook feature is relatively new, and we've tested it with lots of browsers and operating systems. But, it could be you found something that's not compatible with a specific browser or operating system. We'd love to get this fixed--thank you for any help you can give!

It's a bit slow to load on my machine.  But it is loading.  I have fairly quick internet.  chrome, windows pc.
I wonder if it's because lots of people are viewing it all at once?

That could be. Especially if lots of people are downloading other goodies from permies right now, too. Part of the reason we've stretched out the kickstarter rewards is because we didn't want to overload our servers. I recall Devaka saying that the cBooks use a lot of resources, or something. So maybe this is related, especially since I sent out 6 or 7 rewards last night?

Thank you for the new link, works a treat.  I am really loving all the information sharing and particularly the technical information.  Above all, I am learning to love!  Love the reason for being and the reason to get out of bed in the morning.  This is exemplified in this passage from 104th issue of Permaculture:
