It sounds like there is a lot of interest in dog stuff, kid stuff, and people coming out early to do pre-builds and prep work.

Let's find out what cabins are available the week before the event.

Saana has been helping everybody get set up with rentals.  I will ask her.

Also sounds like some people are interested in working with animals.
I can bring my animals.  That is an investment for me though. I will need to show up early to and get set up.

Is there anyone who is interested enough to buy a ticket?

Would it make the difference to you if you could ride horses through the Montana mountains?

 or

Will you come to shear a sheep?  Learn to spin, felt and make stuff?

What if there is a place for kids to be and do kid activities?

The ticket is already $450.  It is cheaper than any one week camp I can send my kid to.
Who would buy a ticket for their kid to come hang out in the kid-area with me and my animals?
Learn how to make their own clothes, shoes, blankets, rugs.   Harvest and twine natural materials, build a basket, make candles.

I think I could go on forever with the fun kid stuff.  Would anybody pay for this?

Hi Samantha -- your plans sound great!

I am mostly focused on building, rocket, & water things (for now!), but I would really appreciate some animal time, especially sheep -- handling, shearing, learning about your set up and experiences --

Just had a sneaky idea:

If you're going to this event because it's gonna be super awesome...
And you're worried that the last ticket or two won't sell and the deal will fall through and your price for a ticket will jump from $450 to $2650....

You could buy a spare ticket or three at $450 to push the effort over the finish line and you'll still spend much less than $2650.  And give the extra ticket(s) to someone else.

$900 is still a crazy cheap price for a two week vacation in Montana, learning lots of skills, hanging with like-minded folks and eating awesome organic food for three meals a day.

Just saying ;)

This will be a fun one!

Opalyn is thinking of making a patch work quilt.

https://permies.com/t/241540/PTJ-project-Quilt-stuffed-local#2256219

Opalyn is an artist and excellent seamstress so whatever she makes will be sturdy and beautiful.

It is a joy to work with her and learn.
