Ya know? If there was a place to be when you need to cop a smile, this would be the place.  I wander through the collection from time to time and the world and its issues melt away and smiles prevail.

My Tori, an excellent mouser/ratter. When younger she was able to run down rabbits.

An old pic from before I knew that dog and plants are incompatible.
"Are you digging in that plant???!!"

..."nobody here but us poor plants. ."

Oh and both my dogs (german sheperds) are very good diggers and help in the garden and all things permaculture. These are my little permies.
Just look at the wisdom in their eyes. Man's best friends that is for sure.

Oh, the dogs we’ve had. Most found, showed up on need, or adoption from shelters. Nova, a foster that came to the shelter emaciated and shortly delivered eleven puppies, all healthy and found homes. She loved riding in my Miata. She was probably Akita, Shepherd, and Pit, of course, but very sweet, a good mother and never aggressive.

When she finally found the right home I missed having a big dog around until Valkyrie arrived. Val was in the newspaper, needed a home as her family had to downsize. She’s a Caucasian Shepherd, or Osharka(?). She’s about 140 pounds, well socialized as a pup, again sweet, never aggressive.-

Edit: I have a Halti brand no pull harness, it will fit him a while but a bit too big for now but his muzzle will be big enough to get around pig heads.
Can anyone suggest a good halti (caverson) that is adjustable but light duty and non rubber basket, that can be repaired with a minimal leather kit and unwaxed floss?

My new acquisition called Bear. He is 14 weeks old and will be a big Heinz57
His papa, Constable Tonto, is about 85 lbs. 3 owner rescue from a decade ago at 3-1/2

I have a Ruthie too! She's the black, smiling girl on the right. And a pack of other amazing girls. Gracie Mae, Ginsey Marie, Valentine, Martha Stewart and Patchi Love. I also have Louie the Rescued Frenchie, who is a tyrant to all but me... he knows better, LOL.

Happy 6th BIRFFFDAY, Bailey!!! She got a homemade (very dog friendly) bone-shaped cake, with sun butter for frosting, a '6' in blueberries, and unsweetened coconut flake decorations. Because we know how she is with her 'birfffday' cakes, I made tiny separate ones for our little girls, Charlie & Vixin. I'm just sad for the lack of decorations, and I'm going to have to fix that, soon - Vixin will be 1, in 2 weeks!
