I used a cup of (mostly) quinoa and (a bit of) amaranth in 2 cups of water, cooked for 20 minutes.

Really simple and good. We often keep some in the fridge to make a bowl with it, a protein, and some ferment.

Well, this looks like a good opportunity to do some meal prep.

Here's the cups pre washing. There's a bit more than this.

Several eggs, plenty of salt, oil, a diced tomato, Sriracha, and onion. Ate some, fridged the rest. There's actually still some rice in the original pot too.

I made about three cups of quinoa last night. Finished with fresh tomatoes, olive oil, and salt and served with wild crispy fried Atlantic salmon

I hope this is OK for the BB

The rice and the pot

The rice cooking in the pot

The lid has to be on it

Proof: 2 cups of cooked rice. One to eat now, the other goes in the freezer for another day

I know it isn't part of the BB, but the rice needs a sauce ...

Finally remembered to take a picture of cooking rice on the stove top.

2 cups brown rice
2.5 cups water
1 Tbl lemon juice

Soak rice in water and lemon juice for 8 hours and then cook at low simmer until water is gone.
