"The world is changed by your example, not your opinion." ~ Paulo Coelho
It seems that no matter how often the kitchen is cleaned you always find that something is dirty or messy again in a moment. When you have seven people in a little house, this is VERY true.
I used an all-purpose spray we make which is one part water to one part peroxide and a few drops of essential oils (citrus oils keep sugar ants away so we often use that.)
We do not have a kitchen table but we have lots of counters, I hope that isn't an issue with the requirements.

"And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else."
1 Thessalonians 5:14-15
I feel comfortable showing y'all what happens when kids come home to visit for the weekend but don't help clean up, since others here have been so open.
I used baking soda on the sink and stove. I use an o'cedar mop with reusable mop head. I had washed jars for canning in Mrs. Meyers dish soap, and dipped the reusable pad in that dishwater for mopping. Same for the counters.
I did some baking and cooking today and needed to clean my kitchen afterwards. I used warm water with a bit of vinegar and lemon juice for the stove. The rest of the mess could be wiped away or scrubbed with elbow grease and warm water. The floor was swept with a broom.
