I am submitting a request for community.sand.meal bb
To document this bb I will be showing photos of the simple meal preparation, meal photos, 8 people enjoying meal, me washing 8+ sets of dirty dishes and a spotless kitchen.
The meal was Chicken/Jackfruit Souvliki and Tzatziki with Lentils, Salad, & Organic jasmine rice. Each plate was between 300-500 calories. 98% Organic. Some ingredients were harvested on site.
Dinner for ten! I giggled at this requirement because I have seven kids, so feeding them was a day to day thing. They are grown now and only some live close, but they do bring home their spouses, children and friends.
Someone flagged this submission as not complete. BBV price: 1 Note: From the requirements: as in the Food Prep and Preservation aspect, no aluminum or teflon/coated cookware, microwave ovens or plastic touching the food (including bowls and utensils) is allowed

I prepared a vegan chili (with avocado, radish, and cabbage toppers) and a vegan sourdough cornbread. I served 8 people, not including myself. I nearly had to yell at my husband to not clean anything... that was a first! hah!
cornbread recipe: https://homesteadandchill.com/sourdough-cornbread/ except I added corn kernels
chili recipe: I always wing it based on what ingredients I have on hand but this time I started from dry beans from the farmers market that I soaked for 4 days prior to the meal. My secret ingredient is a little bit of distilled vinegar.

We had friends over for lunch. I made sourdough bread and we had elk roast sandwiches with finger food veggies and potato wedges. Yum! 2 families: 12 people. Lots of cleanup.

Hosted a birthday dinner get together for my dearest friend, Sonya. I cooked corned beef with carrots, cabbage and potatoes in the instant pot. Fettuccine noodles and lentil noodles with Alfredo sauce. Spinach and mushroom wilted salad.
My cookware is ceramic coated and stainless steel.
We started out with 9 people including myself and people came after they got off work to bring it up to 11 total.
