It seems I too missed the window. After looking Friday mid-morning and not seeing any e-mail, then being on the road or busy with family since then and not seeing any e-mails about candy, I got the "we're all done" message today, went looking through my junk folder, and found the e-mails from Cassie and from scubbly. Was able to watch at least part of the hugelkultur doc, but the rest are gone With the very limited bandwidth here, I don't know how much I could have downloaded anyway... I am about to head back to my house where I can download the old dvds (hope the "30-day window" in the scubbly e-mail is accurate), and it would be really nice if I could be added to the second wave. If not, I'll just have to wait for the real reason I supported the kickstarter. BTW, I pledged at $70, and my ks and permies e-mails are the same.

Oof! Seems you sent out the e-mails while I was writing! Bummer...

I have not seen it. I saw the original email though and so I replied to that when I emailed you. It seemed the easiest way.

Just to be clear, ALL DOWNLOAD LINKS will be closed in 72 hours from right now. This exact moment. So if you want another email with new links, I will send it to you, but you will not get an additional 72 hours from when I send it to you. You only get 72 hours from right now.

I just passed here to say THANK YOU to Cassie, Paul, Jocelyn, Ernie, Erica and all the people that have made efforts to turn the candy's access available to all of us.

I'm part of the 'first wave' of candy access and would like to say that I received all the stuff perfectly on my first download attempt during the midnight between last friday and saturday.
All the .PDF and the .ZIP files opened perfectly.

Just to inform to the others who have had troubles while downloading, I usually use some Download Manager software when downloading such important stuff like that, its very useful to avoid "broken" files during congested traffic downloads or unstable internet connections.

Well, once more, thanks guys! I loved all the material and for me is a pleasure to be able to participate here with you on this journey of knowledge.

ps- The candy are really sweet Paul! Loved the priceless information at the permaculture-playing-cards-ebook, learned things there that I didn't know until now.
I'm still learning about Permaculture and its action strategies, well now I have many more hours of study to dive on.

Big hug to you all, from southern Brazil,
João

Is there any way to get these again?
I received the .pdf files and youtube links just fine. But the .zip files no.

We had to do another wave of emails because so many people were out of town for the holiday weekend. It's another 72 hour window, which started about half an hour ago. So if you'd like I could send you a new email but you will only have 71.5 hours to download them.

If so, send your kickstarter email address to me at cassie at richsoil dot com

After receiving KickStarter update today about the candy, went to e-mail and twasn't there... HMMMM...

I then checked Junk e-mail, and EGADS, it thought something from Cassie was junk, how can it be?!?!?! I have rectified this but the candy float still passeth.

Will the candy float be passing by again?

Just to be clear, before the friday mailing, you emailed cassie and asked to be on the tuesday mailing instead, right? If that is the case, then I'm guessing that you will get an email sometime today.

no I don´t think I did - I think I wrote about it on Sunday evening when I tried to download - I couldn´t get anything sorted out - and I´m still trying to get used to using this forum - I´m sorry but technology takes a long time to sink in!
Like I didn´t know that hitting the quote button means I can answer your messages!!

It's okay. I sent you the email just a bit ago.

I live in Australia where the 72 hour window fell on a long weekend. I have a couple of queries/complaints about the whole process;
1. I do not have a broadband connection at home so the 72 hour window fell exactly on the only 72 hours of the entire year I could not access broadband.
2. I attempted to download the candy via a personal hotspot with my phone but could only download the pdf files, the zip file downloads kept failing.
3. The timing of the window (exact opening time and exact closing time) was not explicit. This website, for example, runs 15 hours behind my local time (I am assuming the team delivering the candy is running at/near this websites 'ranch time'). I received the email with all the links at 5.30AM on Saturday (my local time).

I don't mean to sound like I am whinging, my main issue is the fact that I couldn't download all the candy, the other 2 points I bring up as an attempt to give some constructive criticism.

jocelyn, please send me an email at cassie at richsoil dot com - the first download window is now over, so the links you have probably don't work anymore. if you send me an email I can send you the new links and you will have about 50 hours to download them. to download them you will just have to click the links, or right click and hit save as.

What specific link are you referring to?

Robert,

Here is what I said earlier to your first question. Now you are coming back to me with another question. So step one is you have to read the answer I give you and then answer my question so I can help you.

So have you read through this thread?..

It sounds like you got the email but don't know how to download the links. All you have to do is click the links. Or right click and hit "save as"... However, since the first 72 hour download has ended, you would need to send me an email at cassie at richsoil dot com so I could send you the new links. There is only 50 hours left of that window until it is done for good.

A lot of these files are large zip files and PDFs that need a PDF reader to be viewed. Also you will need to get a vimeo account and give me your vimeo user ID. It seems like that sort of thing might be out of your comfort zone to deal with - is that an accurate analysis?

How about this? Part of your reward is to have your name be listed in the new DVDs and have the physical set of the old rocket mass heater dvds and the new ones mailed to you in october. Maybe we could just do the physical 8 dvd set, and the name in the videos?

What do you think?

Cassie and Paul,

You are amazing. Thank you.

And the air and water and minerals and fungi and plants and animals thank you deeply because there will be less ___ in them all when folks start to use rocket mass heaters.

Probably the Ancestors are sighing in relief. Maybe even beneficent ET's are smiling with joy.

You are acruing mountains of good karma.

Love and Blessings Always.

Hello Cassie,

I tried to open my gob of rocket-mass-heater-podcasts and it told me that
it was invalid - I downloaded it but it did not come to my computer correctly.

May I have a link for the rocket-mass-heater-podcast-gob?

All the other things I downloaded came into my computer ok.

Thanks : )

I just wanted to say thank you for all my candy and to ask a quick question if I may?

I thought I was signed up to the forums already but turns out in all my excitement and love for Rocket Massing I wasn't. :S

I have just signed up using the same email as I gave when being a part of the kick starter and wondered how that would affect my inner circle access.

Many thanks,

Mike

For everyone who just signed up to permies or just got their kickstarter email address to match their permies ones, we will probably do another mass adding to the secret inner circle in a month or two.

So it didn't open up during the first window? Or after the first window had ended? Because it might just not be working because we moved the links once the first 72 hour window had ended. However, since there were so many people gone over the holiday weekend we decided to do a second window. It began about 24 hours ago, so if you would like me to send you the new links, send me your kickstarter email address and you will have about 48 hours to download.

Hey, I did not have time to download all of the podcasts, or the album, in the window they were available..... Is there any way I could get access to them again? I dont have internet at my home, so its tricky for me. What are the chances of scheduling a second window of time for those of us who didnt get all our candy? I know this is annoying and overwhelming, so sorry about that.

(The podcast 241-300 zip was corrupted the first time, but that could have been my computer which randomly freezes and has to be unplugged and rebooted.)

Heidi, did you read any of this thread?

We are doing a second window, and it started two days ago, so there is only about 30 hours left. If you want new links, send me an email at cassie at richsoil dot com with the email associated with your kickstarter account.

Cassie and Paul,

Thank you both so very much.

I successfully downloaded everything.

I figured out, the error was on my end...this is the solution to the problem I had with Podcast Gobs 201-240 and 241-280......simple....I had not allowed enough time for them to download. They are big files and I needed to watch the progress bar to see when they were complete.

I made a point to download well before the deadline so as not to cause more trouble for you all.

Thank you again for this information that is so very valuable for all sentient beings.

Love and Blessings
