Beau has been to Wheaton Labs many times. Here is what he has to say about the rocket ovens movie: " I've cooked on this very Rocket Oven before, and let me tell you - it is dreamy.  Gets up to temperature in no time, with just a bit of kindling.  Cooks low-, medium-, and high-temp stuff in a flash.  That's why I'm building one into our outdoor kitchen. "

It really makes want to build one myself.

More from Beau:

"Here's another one I wasn't familiar with before Erik jumped into this bundle, but I'm so glad he did.  This chapter includes:
Food Forest Agroforestry: Orchards, Managing biomass, Soil Seed Bank, Pollination, Prepping Planting Areas, Growth Pattern and Longevity, Extending Harvests , as well as general info about planting trees by transplant, seed, or bare-root, and starting and tending a hedgerow."

Beau had this to say about Devious Experiments with a Truly Passive Greenhouse movie as HD Streaming by Paul Wheaton:

"I'm a little too close to this project, having visited a number of times and seen it during construction.  This is an incredible feat of creativity, research, engineering, ingenuity, and artistry.  Here's what Jessica Vanderhoff, one of the Bundle's first buyers, had to say about it just yesterday:
"This was so, so cool to watch. The joinery was well above my level of building knowledge, but it's so impressive. I'm always interested to learn about passive methods to keep heat in. Here in socal, my dirt is cooler than my air, so I'm thinking of adding thermal mass to my little greenhouse with water tanks that I can drain and fill in different parts of the year."
I would love to see these ideas spark thoughts like this in every part of the world."

Here's a comment by a fellow permies.com user about Tiny House Magazine - set of 12 issues (2021 issues).

"I read every issue.  It fits in a more relevant (and permie-ish) adaptable and efficient space between Dwell magazine's architectural eye-candy and Tiny House Nation's space-saving charm."

A couple issues of Permaculture Design Magazine, Ecological Restoration and Water Extremes, are part of this bundle.  These are relevant topics, especially now.  You can read articles to spark ideas to help fix these issues.

Hello, All, especially the Mods. I got the following email today telling about the goodies contained therein.

Hi Terry,
what exactly puzzles you?
In the first post of this thread Paul updated the price from 65$ to 45$ for 48 hours.

The link that I got in the first email to me took me to a thread that had all the posts showing a year old, Benjamin. But no problem now as I got another email soon after from Paul with a different link to the updated thread/page wherein it had the reduced to $45 link.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Again, CHEERS to all you fabulous PERMIES folks.

Terry

Hey - I just purchased this $45 bundle a couple of minutes a go - and the PayPal option with my credit card -
But it acted strangely.  It blinked rapidly and then went back to the first screen - the one to put all your information in.

Did it go through? Help.
